Hard to tell, but is the rope is made from thickened strokes? Your cutter will only see the original hairline...not the weight of the stroke. I think you may need to select every piece of the rope and go to "arrange" > "convert outline to object" Then go back and delete all the original lines...

For a waterbased injet printer you need the coated material for the ink to adhere. Unless they have come up with something new, not sure you will find a glossy version. You could use gloss laminate to get the shine.

Any leads to a wholesaler that carries fiberglass marking posts like used to mark gas and water lines? I need to quote quantities of 100, 200 and 500 of these. Looked at one of the gas line posts up the road from my shop, and it's a basically flat post about 4" wide with a decal on it. Google...

I don't do a lot of magnets, so one of the cheapo rounders in the craft section at walmart works pretty good for me. Wear it out...just get another. Haven't tried it on anything other than magnets, don't think it would cut it :)

Could also be a little too much tension on the laminator.

Just looked at the 3m 1080 chip versus the Oracal 045 soft pink, and the 3m is a couple shades darker. 1080 has "gloss hot pink" and "matte pink" Out in the sun, the matte seems to appear to be a little lighter than the gloss.

Unless LXI has changed programs...it is Flexi. Look in your "save as" or "export" menu, there should be an option to save as .fs Maybe some of the problem is saving the file in a newer version of the program, and the older version can't open it?

Thanks again for the replies.....one more question. The faces felt fairly thin, like they could be .040 aluminum. Would 3mm aluminum composite also work, or would it be too thick for the trim cap to go back on properly?

Looking for info on this post and panel system. There are two signs, one of top of the other, and they need replaced. Looks like the signs are slid into a slot from the top, and a flat cap at the top of each post. Don't see any screws holding the trim around the faces on....that would be too...

If you're using calendar vinyl..that's most of the problem. Cast vinyl will conform and stay much better.
