Got it, thank you for recapping.
  2. Fellers is too Funny.

It may have been covered before, but how is CheetahWrap.com affiliated with Fellers?
  3. Avery Vinyl by the Yard?

It is a metallic color. That may be it.
  4. Avery Vinyl by the Yard?

Called this morning, they said only 10 yard increments. I'll follow up to see if something has changed.
  5. Avery Vinyl by the Yard?

  6. Avery Vinyl by the Yard?

Where can you find Avery vinyl by the yard. I only need 1-2, but everyone is requiring 10-50 yards! Thank you!
  7. Prints Fading, Possible Solutions

Would having the decals screen print on a vinyl then laminated offer superior results? My thinking is yes, but could be off.
  8. Prints Fading, Possible Solutions

We've laminated everything with 3M 8518 or 3M Graffiti lam. Both have UV protection.
  9. Prints Fading, Possible Solutions

OEM Inks. Although between the fading and the constantly replacing heads due to bad black I don't know why we're sticking with them at this point. How long would Roland, Mimaki, or HP last in similar situations - yellow/orange, heavy exposure, outdoors, IJ180 w/8518? Could you see a year out of...
  10. Design Files...free to client?

Makes sense. The first scenario you outlined is typically how we proceed.
  11. Design Files...free to client?

If you charged to compile the design, then yes, they bought the product and should be given proper files to do with as they please. How would you feel if someone charged you $400 for a logo, but wouldn't give up files for your use?
  12. Prints Fading, Possible Solutions

I created some labels for trash cans, printed on IJ180 some with graffiti proof laminate some with 8518. Eco-solvent inks from an Epson GS6000. I was concerned with some of the decals, as they were a mustard shade of yellow. Sure enough, the ones that are more exposed have faded, even though it...
  13. Lettering on a 37 ft concrete wall

I think J Hill is spot on actually. That's a fair amount of letters to install.
  14. Lettering on a 37 ft concrete wall

+1 for FCO or Cast. I would never use fabricated steel ground level. Depending on how many letters it would be 1-4+ hours on site for us.
  15. What's minimum and max Resolution setting with 1:1 scale

As pointed out by others, the charts I provided were PPI - what your file setup should be within your image editing software. Printer resolution (DPI) should always be higher. For me this is easier to determine with a hands on approach by printing samples. With most wide format machines there...
  16. What's minimum and max Resolution setting with 1:1 scale

There are many charts available online. It really depends on what your printing, and more importantly the viewing distance. I've attached two that I found with a quick search.
  17. Font has me stumped

    Eurostile Bold?
  18. Not sure which it is..................................

My Gerber color chart has it, and we recently ordered some from our local supplier (Sun Supply). It's a lesser used one for sure, but it's not discontinued as far as I know.
  19. Who makes these and where do I find them???

The problem is that you're asking for a wholesale vendor and it was given to you in the first reply. Next problem is, these things are a commodity and the wholesale vendors are selling to anyone off the street. Wan't it cheaper? You'll have to become a distributor, and most likely stock a couple...
  20. FB700 Roll to Roll - Way to Much Skew

It's the click in style ends. It seems to typically skew in one direction. Sounds like our machine may need to be adjusted. It is still in warranty, we may need a tech to come out.
