Would having the decals screen print on a vinyl then laminated offer superior results? My thinking is yes, but could be off.

We've laminated everything with 3M 8518 or 3M Graffiti lam. Both have UV protection.

If you charged to compile the design, then yes, they bought the product and should be given proper files to do with as they please. How would you feel if someone charged you $400 for a logo, but wouldn't give up files for your use?

I think J Hill is spot on actually. That's a fair amount of letters to install.

+1 for FCO or Cast. I would never use fabricated steel ground level. Depending on how many letters it would be 1-4+ hours on site for us.

As pointed out by others, the charts I provided were PPI - what your file setup should be within your image editing software. Printer resolution (DPI) should always be higher. For me this is easier to determine with a hands on approach by printing samples. With most wide format machines there...

There are many charts available online. It really depends on what your printing, and more importantly the viewing distance. I've attached two that I found with a quick search.

It's the click in style ends. It seems to typically skew in one direction. Sounds like our machine may need to be adjusted. It is still in warranty, we may need a tech to come out.
