Good morning. I'm reaching out to you all in the hopes that someone can help us out. We are printing screen positives using a HP Latex 310 printer, and the clear backlit polyester film we are using is Natura SO800W 54" roll with a 3" core. The profile that we are using and that we have used for...
  2. Printing Screen Positives

Can someone tell me the best roll material to print out screen positives for screen printing on a HP latex 310, please? Right now we are using 54" Natura SO800, but we are wondering if there is something better out there that someone else knows about.

  5. Blurry Print on HP Latex 310

Hello, We have been using Natura media SO800 (Ecosolvent Clear Film) for many years now with little issue. We are using it on a HP latex 310 primarily for printing out black on the film for screen printing positives. The line quality has always been good. The last roll I installed I am getting...
  6. Mimaki JFX200-2513 printhead problem

Have you tried a nozzle wash? I would do an air purge on those 2 lines. That has helped me in the past.
  7. UV Printing on Glass Being Installed in a Bathroom

Thanks for all your replies. It sounds like we should be fine. We do send out cleaning instructions with our glass. We are putting the glass in a frame, and it is hanging on the wall. We are printing on a Mimaki JFX200-2513, and we have done multiple tests over the years for our adhesion...
  8. UV Printing on Glass Being Installed in a Bathroom

Good afternoon folks! We are prototyping a glass wall hanging that is being printed 2nd surface on a UV flatbed printer. We are using on board primer, color and 40% white. Our concern is that it's going to be installed in a small bath room with a shower in it. We are concerned that the ink may...
  9. Need Help Vinyl Master Cut Version 5.0

We just did what ikarasu said to do, and this worked. Thank you so much!!! I'm not sure why they say it's not compatible, but using this method definitely does work!
  10. Need Help Vinyl Master Cut Version 5.0

Good morning. We recently purchased the Vinyl Master Cut 5.0 software for our Graphtec CE 5000-120 plotter because Cutting Master 4 doesn't work with the new upgrade to Illustrator yet. We have been able to cut a file, but we can't figure out how to cut the same file multiple times. We know we...
  11. Delamination of ink on acrylic

We bring in 4" x 8" sheets of the acrylic. We keep stock sheets on hand. We only cut and print the acrylic when we get an order. When we get low on acrylic sheets, we order more. These are all done in the same conditions in a controlled environment. I do believe this is something that is...
  12. Delamination of ink on acrylic

Gotcha. I will definitely have our sales guy be on the look out for this when he goes there. Thanks!
  13. Delamination of ink on acrylic

Wow! How awful. I agree with you. They say that they aren't wiping them with anything, but no one else is having issues. We're going to have a member of our sales staff deliver the next couple orders and go through the parts with them upon delivery.
  14. Delamination of ink on acrylic

We have cleaned everything we have printed (besides paper products and canvas) for the last 6 years with the 50/50 mixture of the 90% isopropyl alcohol and distilled water so I don't believe this is the issue. Laminating is not an option for these parts.
  15. Delamination of ink on acrylic

It is very strange. We had a member of our sales staff go to that plant to see if maybe they were sitting outside or in an area where there was a big change in humidity. He said that he didn't see anything out of the ordinary. They said that they are coming straight out of the box this way...

Good morning all. We have a product that we cut on our CNC router and then print it on our Mimaki JFX200-2513. The substrate is 1/8" clear acrylic. We have been producing this product since August 2020 with no issues. We have produced over 2,000 parts. We sell them to 6 different plants. We...
  17. Mimaki JFX200 SPC-0568 cleaning fluid

I'm not sure where you can get it in the UK. The bottles we purchase are 100 ml. It is called F-200/ LF-200 Washing Liquid. The SPC-0568 is Mimaki's part # I believe.
  18. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Height Check System Halt(2) 441:Headheight Wrong

Update: We did order a sensor and a z linear encoder scale. Before we replaced anything we cleaned the z encoder pretty good. That appeared to work. We have been running and doing height checks for the past 2 days with no issues. Now we have the spare parts on hand if needed. Thanks for the...
  19. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Height Check System Halt(2) 441:Headheight Wrong

We did already clean the pin and around the pin that measures the height before I made my original post. Yesterday everything was running fine. I ran parts all day. About an hour ago,we tried to measure a substrate that was thicker, and it measured that just fine. Then I tried a height check...
  20. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Height Check System Halt(2) 441:Headheight Wrong

Good morning! I'm in need of help. We have a Mimaki JFX200-2513. This morning when I was getting set up to run, I did a height check like always. While it was doing the height check everything looked normal at first. The pin comes down and tries to measure the height. Then the pin goes up and...
