  1. Onyx Thrive 19 Epson S80600 Colors Suddenly washed out(mainly orange)

A few weeks ago I needed to print a couple additional small pieces for a trailer wrap and I noticed the colors didn't quite match what was printed just days before, where it was going it was not noticeable and I just brushed it off and forgot about it. Fast forward to today and I went to print...
  2. Help!! Flat Head Rivet Nightmare! Full 53' Trailer Wrap

As you can see in the picture these rivets are put in from the inside of the trailer so the portion that will be wrapped is more like a cylinder than a sphere. Haven't encountered these in a while and never with something that was getting wrapped so I'm not real sure the best plan of attack...
  3. Vinyl Flex Billboard Installation Anyone Interested?

I have a customer that I am supplying the vinyl flex for a billboard and he is wanting me to install also. I'm thinking it might be more cost effective to let someone that specializes in this type of work do the job instead. It's a 12'x24', double stacked, on both sides(4 faces total). If...
  4. Jesse Hill - J Hill Designs- needs your thoughts and prayers

Thoughts and prayers to Jesse's family, it's terrible that things like this happen. Just goes to show how you can never take anything for granted. Makes me care less about my work/busniess and want to spend more time with my family.
  5. Oracal 970RA not sticking to Smart Car?

I had a 970ra wrap fail recently also. Doesn't sound as bad as what you describe but I remember when installing that it didn't seem as difficult as I remembered orafol to be with the aggressive adhesive. Two weeks later I got the call, sure enough it was lifting EVERYWHERE. The color wasn't...
  6. Instant One Media

I mainly just plan to use it on flat panel signs with a cast laminate that I want to last longer. If it is in fact not a cast and that's what I thought I was getting....well I'm not at all happy about that at all, very misleading!
  7. Instant One Media

Wondering if anyone out there has anything good or bad to say about the Instant One Cast now that it's been around for a little while. I bought a couple of rolls a while back and I'm getting ready to run a few smaller jobs on it, unless it's prone to failure or something in which case it will...
  8. Anyone know this font?

    Thank You!
  9. Anyone know this font?

Need to match this font and can't seem to find anything that is very close. Any suggestions?
  10. Signlab 9 RIP?

I use the Signlab 9.1 RIP with a Epson 30670 and I love it, I don't have the color problems that others are describing but it may vary a lot depending on the printer too.
  11. ShopSabre vs. AXYZ

You might also try Thermwood if you have the budget for it. Out of my price range, but they make a workhorse. They are built 10 minutes from my shop in Dale, IN, great people. I looked at ShopSabre a few years ago and almost bought one, that is about all I know about them though.
  12. Fellers = CheetahWrap

Think I'll tell my rep I'm done with them next time he calls. Selling at list prices is one thing but these prices are less than they what I can get it for. Shows how much they appreciate their customers that spend tens of thousands or more a year with them. This is gonna get good....
  13. when printing reds

I have the same blotchy problems when printing this media, never know until you start how bad it's going to be. Hate printing that stuff but love installing it. I have switched back to 3M because of it.
  14. One of our customers.....................................

I have one of these customers as well! Not just someone dressing up as Santa, the real Santa Claus....his checks say so... No joke, his legal name is Santa Claus.
  15. just got email

Did it include the cnc routing module?
  16. Signlab on its way @ just $750.00

It was my understanding that it was an add on. That was a year or so ago though, it may have changed.
  17. Signlab on its way @ just $750.00

I may be wrong, but when I looked into it you needed to buy the routing module separate at something like $500. If this includes that module you really did get a steal and I'm going to order another seat. I've been with Signlab for 15 years and I'd have a hard time learning anything else I...
  18. Can I do this without employees...

I ask myself this same question almost daily anymore, BUT.....I'm on the other side. Been doing this for 14 years now, transitioned from part time to full time about 4 years ago. I worked I'm my family's body shop prior to going full time with the sign shop so it was a pretty flexible...
  19. Falcon Outdoor Jr... where to start?

As a previous owner of both a jr and a 62" model I agree completely!
