Hello:
New to this site, but not to sign painting. I only do hand painted work, but am wanting to incorporate some cut plastic letters to add a bit of dimension to school door signs. I need 1/2" letters. I can find all these web sites selling them, but the format is difficult. When I last ordered something like this (probably in the early 80's) you would just tell them, "give me 5 of the letter A, and 3 of the letter R and so on. Is there anyone doing business in this logical format any more? Thanks, and I enjoy reading all the posts.

That Works For Me . . . . . . .

Thank you folks. I will give them a call. It's good to see that there are others still swinging the brush. I am really excited to read about other sign makers on this forum. Have a great day !

Welcome from Calgary, Alberta! :Canada 2:
I used to use a brush, but not any more... I pretty much keep my head shaved down to next to nothing and accept my pending baldness!! :ROFLMAO:

Hi signsbydale and tcorn1965:
I have relatives in Davenport. I was just there about three weeks ago to go through the Titanic Exhibit at the Putnam. Went to that museum many times as a kid.

Good one T3 !!

I still swing a brush occasionally.
Gemini is a good choice, Scott is another that has small plastic letters.

Good to get all these heads up for Gemini. Have not heard of Scott. What types of hand painting do you still do?

Mostly gold leaf and hand detailing dimensional signs.
Everything else has been taken over by the computer.
I've been at it for 37 years.
