Well I for surely have benefited from the sign discussions. Tell you what, I'll start posting sign discussion stuff too, I have a lot of knowledge about that subject. And hey, if you ever need any design work I can help you with that, there is no project too big or small.

So if tariffs do actually deter people from buying foreign imports, and domestic production can't fill the consumer's needs quick enough, will those with cash in their pocket just spend on something else? If that's the case where will their money flow, travel, more on dining, clothes, or other short-term feel-good purchases?

Possibly countries like the US and Canada are headed toward the European model where more and more rent instead of buying. Leading to a scaled down (more minimalist) lifestyle as they may not have the control over housing and other expenses as they would have if they could afford to buy and payoff a home.

Will there be a greater shift toward smaller, short-term and/or experiential purchases which may add to further declines in domestic manufacturing.
