  1. envision plotter just won't cut properly anymore :(

I flipped the cutter strip over...new blade I had pressure at 40!! that is really high for a new blade and it worked for one set of graphics and then the next 2 were half and half but all thrown in the garbage.
  2. envision plotter just won't cut properly anymore :(

I need to figure out how to use my graphtec or summa to cut the decals off that machine and I'm golden!!
  3. envision plotter just won't cut properly anymore :(

I still need my edge to print white on clear and that is about all I use it for. I don't change blades in this machine too often and my old blade needs so much pressure it was scoring right through one cut on every decal, making it very hard to deal with. I finally found a third part blade and...

No those are blades for the old 4b's...but I found a seller here that has non originals for $ 35.00... thanks
  5. Gerber Envision Plotter Blades...who sells them?

My Gerber dealer up here in the great white north wants $160 for 1 blade...is this the price? I haven't changed a blade in my plotter in years ( due to lack of use). No way I am paying that much for a blade. Just curious where you guys get your blades in the USA?
  6. Failing Graphics

I am just wondering why you would use Calendered vinyl for this job? Cheap customer?
  7. Question Why Outdoor Signs are turning black

3ml with 3ml laminate will look like they have a fungal infection attacking them. Not sure how a cast film with laminate fairs....hopefully a few years longer.
  8. Be safe out there....

It's unfortunate when areas of the country get freezing temperatures, when it is not the norm. There is no infrastructure in place ( plows, salt trucks, brine trucks) to get the roads to be even driveable. I have seen so many videos of car pileups. Scary stuff for sure...best to stay put.
  9. what causes these little drips?

Yes I think it is a combination of static and a hair.... I have lost some over the years. :)
  10. what causes these little drips?

    what are PH faces?
  15. what causes these little drips?

Yes, banners are notorious for that, but I have not done a banner in months.
  16. what causes these little drips?

Yesterday I ran a 1 hr head soak...today I cleaned the capping station and the print head. This print had a lot of black in it and this is what I find when I come back after the print was completed. It did not ruin any of the prints and only seemed to do this drip at the capping station end. I...
  17. can you explain "Spot Colors"?

Maybe what your customer is really asking for is that you use colored vinyl as to printing?
  18. Cast vs. Calendared Vinyl

Years ago my main supplier was a MacTac reseller and even though the 9800 was a calendared vinyl, it is rated for 7 plus years and it really did last. I found it difficult to cut and weed and did not use it much although it was cheaper than traditional Cast vinyls and a about double the cost of...
  19. Flexi keeps shutting down when I make a color change

Running Flexi 19 subscription and I find the software pretty stable until today. I have a file that is just vector print and cut graphics exported across from Signlab. I guess I made the file from a few older Signlab files and there must have been 3 different blues, but really they are all...
  20. Real Estate - Residential - not sign related

That is a beautiful home good luck with everything. A house like that up here in the suburbs would be going for close to 2,000,000...and at that price you would only get a postage stamp of land...in other words your neigbours are right on top of you.
