Started last week...this moaning sound. If I push in on the turning knob it stops, but the moment I release it the sound starts again. It sounds like its a bit loose to the takeup roll but if you increase the pressure it gets louder and if you reduce it to go away it stops winding the vinyl...
I'm not sure I understand your problem. Does not your printer have 2 cartridges for each color? When one is empty it moves to the next cartridge and that empty cartridge can be swapped out over time. Maybe your printer is different...but you can put the machine into a nozzle wash and then turn...
All I know is that I have been using Flexi for printing since 2007 and have never seen anything like this before...I also have never converted a file into 256 colours either, so that could be the issue. Thanks for the help and the humour...
Thanks for all your input... This was just a normal vector drawing. The reason I converted to a tif file was that Flexi did not like some of the stroke data when it was sent across as an eps and some lines were missing, so to be safe I figured a bitmap would take care of those issues. The rip...
OK someone has to explain this to me. I am printing a load chart for a customer. Pretty detailed and it was completely redrawn in illustrator. Basically it is all black and white with one area of the chart that is in red with white knockout. I actually sent it out as bitmap so there would be...
I actually don't know the code for 3M cast outside of 7725 as I only have a Gerber colour chart for 3M...and just a side note that Gerber 220 actually offers more 3M colours than 3M!!! Go figure.
I had just enough white 7725 to cut the pole numbers. I just found it odd that someone would spec...
I find it strange that I have a job with this spec. These are numbers that are applied to street lamps in a park. I have no issue with using the material and have it in stock for the real purposes of cutting very small logos and copy for weeding purposes.
Why would scotchcal 220 or a regular 3M...
This absolutely drives me crazy. usually before I send a print cut job, I go to view the contour cuts to make sure they are there...so today I have 6 different decals..the shapes are identical just the info inside changes and I have them all set up before ready to print. I decide to view the...
I have the same printer and once the OEM ran out I switched over to Jet Best. I used them in my old Mimaki and found them superior to the OEM as far as durability. They stink a little more than OEM but I have exhaust fans so no worries. They are plug and play as far as not having to blow...
I have seen this before but can't figure out why I can't send one image at a time? I even tried marquing the pic but it sends all 3. Decided to delete the other 2 and then bring them back later to print.
What causes this?
I am pretty sure when the program was first installed how many years ago it was fine. I would say this started about 3 or 4 years ago. I don't generally work with tif files all that much in signlab and have Flexi in a different computer that has no issues with them, so I have been basically...
Everytime I try to import a tif file into Signlab 8 the program shuts down
How on earth do you fix something like that? and what could possibly cause such a thing?
