Calibrate using Roland Service Notes for XC-540 (number at bottom: 70031-14), section 4-10 Crop-Cut Adjustment. This is pretty much spot on but when I use the print/cut with crop marks on an actual project the cut is more than 2mm skewed.
Appreciate your reply.
Using print and cut later as opposed to print and cut (now). Cut contour is off by 2+ mm but checks out fine when calibrating it. I just don't get it. Help!!
I'm satisfied with ATLAS SCREEN SUPPLY for 220 mo Eco-Sol ink. Reasonable pricing and GREAT service/response. Read up on their site for direct replacement (no flushing required). Their site appears primarily oriented toward screen printing so you need to search for Roland Supplies...
You've got something completely out of whack. Did you disconnect all of the ribbon cables when you changed one print head (dangerous)? -perhaps they are mixed up. Why are there no letters, A-B-C for the three print head groups? I have an (old) XC-540 (but they should all be pretty much the...
Friends, my scan motor seems even noisier and I have bought a replacement. It seems easy enough to replace but I wonder what must be done/adjusted/etc. after replacement beyond resetting scan motor hours?
I'm using a dedicated machine hard-wired to my XC-540 and haven't updated it in over a year. It's not broken and I don't need to fix it. Hope to retire and shut down before computer fails.

I have used JET BEST (magenta only, not cyan) and don't use my printer frequently. I write the date on cartridges when I install them and the single JET BEST (440 ml) still in my machine is from January 2018! (It is near empty.) I make it a point to do a test print every other day that I don't...
Certainly the customer wishes to identify himself on the product. I print thousands of decals and put my contact information on the FRONT (vinyl side). It's all one step during printing the decals. I also add the REORDER number and a note: Shrinkage is normal. This note for shrinkage on...
FrankW, Do you recall how to get the time on the scan motor on XC-540?
Edit: Disregard getting the time on the motor(s) = I found that. I'm amazed at how LITTLE time shows for the amount I've used the machine. Is there some unusual way that it is calculated?
