If you are losing ink on one side it is usually a bleed back issue. The cap top generally effects both sides of the head. Look into the damper as suggested by CyberSupply. The nipple that the damper plugs into on top of the print head may have a crack in it too. It's a closed system so...

Are you having the same issue with Print and cut with the same file? This may narrow down the issue to either the registration mark error or file error. What direction is it off? Scan or feed?

Don't know anything about this brand. I do know that Bordeaux Ink is plug and play and is a very good price. They may be comparable. My only concern with 3rd party ink is how chemically hot they are... some of them eat the seals and lines and you end up with issues.

The shot count has to be manually reset by a tech or someone who knows how to do it. My guess is these heads have been replaced but the shot count wasn't reset. Of course you never know. It's very common for do-it-yourselfers and even techs to forget to reset the shot count.

You should be able to get the part separate.

I don't know the machine, but it seems to me that a manual clean is in order. Should be something in the menu that says "Normal" clean or "Power" clean... I would do a normal clean and see if that primes the heads. That might solve your drop-out issue and clean the heads at the same time...
