silicone and pads will suffice BUT you have to sand the pads first to insure silicone adheres to pads. back in the day it worked without sanding but not anymore.

First Ive heard of this. I always go thru plans myself and "count" signs. Its hard to fathom a software could be able to do this accurately since all plans are different. Putting your own eyes on plans is always better IMO. Especially since plans change constantly

you do not need 2 sets of raceways, your art is showing the capsule attached to main copy by hanging under it, you should be just fine. Open top of raceway and screw into channel on building using large taps screws. Thats actually a good idea for a storefront to keep from getting a million...
