I have always wondered about the HP latex and it's loading, we print mostly 2 different medias but have about 20 on the wall and need to switch out often. I have an RF650 with the main film on its normal spindle setup, have two rolls under it on ballbearing ends to cover the secondary films and...
I am going to post this on ebay and I 'think' it works on RF and XF 640s. What would a good price be for a new unit.
Got it with my second RF- sold the first one back to the dealer but I don't recall [4 years ago] for how much. I build my own takeups that I don't have to lay on the floor to load...
You could buy a Chinese machine from a US company who imports them. Not quite as cheap of course, but they speak English. A couple are Automation Tech in Chicago and Hytek tools in Minnesota. I have bought lasers from both and they sell CNCs.
I have a new RF640 and GR 540 [limited room] sitting here in the shop waiting for a new computer to show up. The RF has a Dual disc and I still have not read how the V5, Dual and V6 programs really differ. I understand Dual and V6 are newer and I need at least that. I intend to get everything...
RF640 +2... we just ordered another one [1st is 4 yrs old]. I clean once a month whether it needs it or not, and we go thru a lot of vinyl. Bulk ink and the biggest money maker I have ever seen. You can buy one and a GR640 for about 20k, and sell the 4 year old machines for about half that.
Turn off the power.Take off the cover on the side with the readout, push the carriageslightly to the right and it will unlatch so you can move it to the left [printbed side]. Make sure the wiper mech is correctly lined up [there is an arm that goes between two sensors ]. Then try turning the...
Fixtureman- that has a quality look- the Reci tube and 5200 chiller are excellent and Ruida controller is the best IMHO. I would not use the outlets on the back before a close electrical inspection- those are commonly not well done. Gene
If you go with a Chicom laser [some are very good, along with the crappy ones- mostly on ebay] and for what you mention I would, sign up for rdworkslab.com - we know Chinese lasers and their issues.
Canadian's apparently are brave people? Jb- I normally use .2 +- if a lot of the letters are the same color you can just print a block of color which is easy to align. Other wise I print registration marks and align it manually. If you have a Chicom laser [glass tube] there is a new software...
