It may be worth buying a clothing steamer for about $60 to $80 and see how easy old vinyl comes off. It will make a brittle vinyl soft and easy to remove and best of all most of the residue comes off with it. I would think on a wrap once you get an edge started with the steam it would come off...

I also would say VHB tape. It is a bit $$ for a roll but handy to have on hand. Look it up on youtube.

Here is my take on the track lines. Roland black ink seems to be heavier density (think that is how to say it) as comared to 3rd party ink it lays black way heavier. If a profile is not set up to reduce the black volume, then the chance of overspray is greater. Also when static is involved...

What he wants is the lettering to show white at night to see easier (like the one area on the sign) and the blue in the day. Thus if they used printed perf for the blue lettering, in the day, you would not notice the holes and see the blue but at night when the light shines through the holes...

Just a shout out to Big Fish and the Gloss Photo Paper for solvent. 36” x 100’ roll. Prints real nice and once dry very scratch resistant and seems very durable. Printed with Rolands EcosolMax and a made profile fine2 settings Had a big job come up (well big for me) where I ran 2 full rolls...

You may want to try to clean it just in case it is an easy fix or flip it over. I have also been told first hand by someone who replace theirs with a generic strip and just cut it down to fit. It worked.

Do you think there is any chance that the heat is off when you did the cut? If the media exspands with the heat and then contracts a bit as it dries, and then laminate and put back into the printer cold, this may make a bit of difference in the cuts. Do a test where you print a small job...
