As it turns out, the plans to eat an entire bottle of narcotics have been permanently scrapped. Surgery #17, while the most complex of all of them, has had the most remarkable outcome and fastest recovery I've ever experienced. The day after the surgery, my wife commented that I've never looked so good so quickly before and actually seemed to be better than the day before the surgery. The ONLY thing that was different this time from all the other surgeries was the week beforehand I was getting my body fortified on a supplement SignosaurusRex and his wife overnighted to me. Google glutathione for the lowdown on this amazing product. S'Rex assured me he thought it would directly help prevent the formation of more fistulas - which would have been my death knell as I had no intention of living a life where I would be forever barred from eating any food again. I had seven months of that existence already and it nearly drove me to the brink of insanity - I couldn't even watch tv because the food commercials were sheer torture.

Score another major victory for the immense knowledge pool of Signs101. The surgeon was already a fistula take down specialist, and the glutathione added to the procedure brought about a resolution that is continuing to be nothing short of miraculous. It could be argued S'Rex saved my life. I am continuing to improve at an exponential rate such as I've never even come close to before. I guess now would be the appropriate time to announce that you may now return to your regularly scheduled avatar as iSign's has filled its purpose. I am confident my surgical career has finally reached an end. The surgeon carved away a huge layer of tissue off my belly that actually revealed three rows of muscle on my belly - a surgically created six pack if you will. He also fixed another large hernia without the need to implant mesh again. This was good because the two fistulas that had been draining for months from my belly were firmly embedded in the mesh the prior surgery provided for their wellbeing. I'm convinced my search for a fistula specialist surgeon hooked me up with a genius doctor. He even commented that the outcome of this surgery was "remarkable".

I didn't want to check out, but had my mind made up and accepted I would do it if I could no longer eat and had to face life getting nutrition from a bag of iv solution I would have to wear every day. As it stands, I've got a whole new opportunity at life... a normal life after 18 years of surgeries. Guess you will all have to put up with me being around for some time to come!!!

Welcome back! Great news for sure. Let's hope you never see the inside of a hospital again. You've been through hell and back, so hopefully your recovery will continue to be great and you can eat normal food for the rest of your life.

I am truly happy for you! :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

AWESOME!!! very cool news buddy!! I sat down with SignasaurusRex a few months back & spoke, among other things, about the amazing properties of glutathione, and the amazing results his and other families have experienced when it is the right tool for the job. Glad it was right for you too... I have spoken to his wife as well, and may have to try it out myself after my own little MRI findings last winter...

OK, now I'm gonna work on a "6-pack abs for iSign" prayer wheel avatar!!! yeee-haaaa!!
